Once you take into account secondary armaments the yamato despite a very large number of AA guns was crippled by their terrible design (poor effective range, limited ammo per clip and such a bad reload rate they actually spent more time reloading than firing) so iowa wins hands down of those the iowa is likely the best as it was much faster than its japanese counterpart and despite the yamato being the largest battleship ever built, the poor quality of japanese materials mean it is a much more even fight than it would otherwise appear. once actual battleships come along which at this point i believe is pretty inevitable the only real battleships germany had were Bismark and Tirpitz which for all they are romanticised are not a match for the kind of battleships other nations could get When the new ones come out which nation will be the best? Assuming they are all added in future (and this is an assumption) the US iowa class and Japanese yamato class are the most powerful battleships ever built, with honourable mention going to the British vanguard class which was the last battleship ever built but never saw combat.

Germany had a terrible navy and only beats out other nations because they have the graf spee which mounts almost battleship calibur armament on a cruiser hull which fights against other nations more conventional heavy cruisers, noone else built anything that insane because they wernt bound by treaties not to build actual battleships as germany had been at the time.
